About the Program

The engineering psychology programme at the Tuttlingen Campus combines psychology with technology. Whether in medical technology, the automotive sector, industrial robots or multimedia devices – technology must be intuitive for users and should also be fun to use. The programme focuses primarily on the user experience. During the seven-semester degree course, students learn about the requirements, limits and responsibilities of human-machine interaction. The curriculum includes general psychology, cognitive psychology, psychological methodology, human-machine systems, human-centered design, industrial and organizational psychology, ergonomics, technical fundamentals, and management and work techniques. The 4th semester is a practical internship semester, and students write their bachelor's thesis in the 7th semester.
