About the Program
The Bachelor of Science programme Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik (etit) at the Technical University of Darmstadt enables graduates to participate in planning and realising electro-technical and information-technical components and systems. In the first four semesters, the students undergo a broad scientific education in the fundamental modules of the field. From the fourth semester onwards, knowledge is deepened in one of the freely selectable specialisations: Automation Technology (AUT), Computational Methods in Electrical Engineering (CMEE), Data Technology (DT), Electrical Energy Technology (EET), Communication Technology and Sensor Systems (KTS), Sensors, Actuators and Electronics (SAE), Distributed Autonomous Systems (VAS) or General Electrical Engineering (AET). The study programme is research as well as practice-oriented. Within the framework of laboratory internships, theoretical knowledge is tried and tested in practical applications throughout the entire programme.
