The English-language master's program "Electrical Engineering" offers a choice of six specializations in the field of electrical engineering and information technology: Smart Information Processing, Communication Systems, Nano- and Optoelectronics, Power-electronic Systems and Technologies, Smart Systems, Electromagnetics and Applications, Electrical Energy Systems [as from winter term 2024/25]. The fields of electrical engineering and information technology form the technology platform for the electrification, digitalization, and networking of modern systems in information and communication technology, energy technology and mobility. These areas offer important technology for ensuring resource conservation and sustainability and are increasingly shaping and changing our behavior and lifestyles.
