About the Program

The Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology enables students to independently utilise scientific knowledge and methods in the field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and to quickly familiarise themselves with one of the numerous fields of application. The aim of the program is to gain the ability to analyse, design and implement complex systems in the field of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in the framework of a structured approach. This is achieved by teaching a balanced combination of basic and specialised knowledge of the current state of the art as well as the technique of methodical approach. The program is divided into three parts: two semesters of orientation, a one-semester foundation course and four semesters of a specialisation phase, which includes a technical project, an industrial placement lasting one semester and the final thesis. Students can choose from specializations in: Automation and robotics, Electronic systems, Energy technology, Communication systems, and Information systems.
