About the Program

On the basis of a corresponding Bachelor's degree, this program prepares students to teach two subjects (one primary school subject and one secondary school subject) and to support children and young people according to their individual circumstances and specific support needs. Students will become familiar with the possibilities of inclusive school development and acquire skills in counselling and facilitating change processes. The program is divided into special education areas, educational and training science, and specialist didactic areas. Students are trained particularly for teaching children with special educational needs, acquire knowledge about social prerequisites of school and teaching, and gain subject-related knowledge and skills on teaching and learning processes.
