About the Program
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) "Education Policies for Global Development" (GLOBED) is a postgraduate Masters programme (120 ECTS), taught full-time over 2 years and divided in 4 semesters (30 ECTS each). The program is a collaborative effort between the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the University of Bremen (UB), the University of Cyprus (UCY), and the University of Glasgow (UoG). The program is particularly aimed at students from the global South and focuses on education policy. Approximately 25 students begin their studies in Barcelona. The second semester is spent either in Glasgow or Bremen. In the third semester, students complete an internship and meet for the Winter School in Cyprus, before writing their master's thesis at a university of their choice in the fourth semester.
