About the Program

This Master's degree prepares students to work as teachers in further or continued education and contribute to ensuring a sufficiency of qualified young people in the health and welfare professions. It builds on the Bachelor's degree in Healthcare and Nursing with the elective subject of education. Students gain broader, more in-depth knowledge and further their personal development. The degree programme also opens up the opportunity of studying for a doctorate later on. Building on knowledge acquired in the Bachelor's degree, the course programme opens up further areas of educational science, including special research concepts and the entire field of school development. Students also learn more about ethical, psychological-social science, legal and health science aspects. To enhance practical relevance, an internship is included after the second semester.
