Chemistry is primarily an experimental science which considers the development, characteristics and transformation of matter. The Master of Education Extension Subject in Chemistry qualifies students to teach chemistry at all levels of Gymnasium education. In addition to lectures, tutorials, and seminars, laboratory practice plays an important role.
