About the Program

The Master's programme in Economic Behaviour and Governance (EB&Go) combines an interdisciplinary approach to economics, governance, and behavioral insights, preparing students to tackle real-world challenges with innovative solutions. The program emphasizes the main research areas of the faculty at the Institute of Economics and provides students with profound knowledge in behavioural economics with a strong focus on applied research questions. The redesigned program will start in winter 2025/26 with a duration of 2 years (120 ECTS) and is taught entirely in English. The programme consists of modules including: Research Methods (A+B), Economic Behaviour (A+B), Governance (A+B), Advanced Topics in Corporate Governance, Consumer Behaviour and Management (A+B), Seminar in Economic Behaviour, Seminar in Governance, Additive Skills, and Master Thesis and Colloquium. The Master programme qualifies students for a wide array of jobs in academia, government agencies, public administration, supranational organisations, NGOs, and multinational firms. The community of German students and students from many other countries provides an inspiring learning environment that enhances intercultural skills.
