About the Program

The Early Education course has two objectives: to qualify and professionalise skilled personnel for the various sectors of early education work practice, and to promote up-and-coming academics and research within the field of early education. The course is designed so that students can develop their own individual pedagogical profile and a professional approach. It offers opportunity for theory-based critical reflection and for the acquisition of professional skills of intervention. The program focuses on developing reflective professionalism, ability to complete academic tasks independently, critical disposition, intervention skills in professional work practice, and foundation in early education and related disciplines. Students gain in-depth knowledge of children and childhood, diversity and inclusion, learning processes, aesthetic education, networks and cooperation with other institutions, as well as knowledge of empirical social research methods.
