Students develop professional stage presence and learn how to function as soloists, chamber musicians, tutti players, solo bassists, or ensemble leaders in practical settings. The curriculum includes private lessons in the core subject and correpetition as well as fundamental training in methodology, music theory, ear training and musicology. Piano lessons and chamber music projects complement the studies through intensive practice-oriented components. Participation in the school symphony orchestra and choir are integral parts of the course.
