Computer Science in Engineering

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

This study programme follows on directly from the Bachelor of Engineering Informatics and offers an even clearer focus on the engineering field. Students acquire scientific methods through which they can develop complex, innovative applications in various industrial fields. The study programme is divided into four module groups that reflect the interdisciplinary profile of the study programme. Within this structure, students can pursue their own focal points and thus prepare for their final thesis and later fields of activity. Career prospects include robotics, automobile industry, aerospace, medicine, and production. Special features include development/advancement of prototypes using cutting-edge technologies, intensive and individual supervision with a genuine interest in the individual student, events with a practical focus, diverse contacts with companies, and Master's thesis in current research areas (additive manufacturing, smart mobility, robotics teams, etc.).
