About the Program

The 2-subject Master's program in "Communication Studies" is dedicated to the research of intra- and intercultural communication in the context of social, political, economic, and technological transformation processes from a theoretically and methodologically in-depth perspective. Students have the opportunity to choose between different areas of intra- and intercultural communication in the context of social, political, economic, and technological fields of practice to deepen a research or professional profile according to their interests. Students are integrated into concrete research practice through the advanced seminars of the advanced modules, which address current scientific activities at the institute both theoretically and in research practice.
