About the Program

Communication Science focuses on production processes, processing procedures and the effect and impact of public communication offers. The program explores how political communication works, the effect media have on us, and how social media and streaming services change our society. Students will learn various theories, models and concepts from several fields including empirical methods, digitization and the public sphere, strategic communication, and communication and media psychology with a focus on internet community and social media. The minor subject consists of eight compulsory modules and eight required elective modules, of which students must successfully pass three for the Bachelor's degree (eleven modules in total).
