About the Program

The four-semester Master degree program Communication and Management prepares students for leading positions in the area of strategic organizational communication. In addition to factual knowledge, the program instructs students in those communication skills that give them the ability to act in crises, change management processes, and other situations. The degree program lays a strong emphasis on the close link between theory and practice. In this spirit, students are encouraged constantly to discuss and sometimes to test out the theoretical subject matter. Communications and management competence is taught in conjunction with the areas of internal and external communication, communication planning and controlling, corporate management, organizational psychology, human resource management, and other topics. The degree program Communication and Management is also characterized by small study groups and a personal atmosphere.
