In Latin literary studies, students study Ancient Greek and Roman texts from the beginnings of Western literature to works from Late Antiquity, with focus on the Classical Roman period and Latin Late Antiquity. Latin linguistics covers the developments of the Latin language from its first emergence to Late Antiquity. The didactics component offers professional supplement for students of Latin as a teaching subject in theory and practice.
