About the Program

Charitable organisations improve the daily lives of many people and help them in times of crisis. This master's degree programme in Charity Studies and Values-based Management focuses on supporting leaders in their development, examining managerial behaviour and actions from the perspective of Christian-influenced theology and ethics, while being open to all religions and world views. Students learn how leadership grounded in values works in organisations and in human resources management, taking into account social law, ethical and business management models. The programme comprises four module areas: Thinking and applying charity; Values-based leadership in organisations; Values-based leadership of people; and Scientific charity research. The degree can be completed full-time (4 semesters) or part-time (8 semesters), with classroom courses usually offered on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, making it suitable for people with work or family commitments.
