About the Program

Students in the Business Psychology program are prepared for a wide range of tasks in work, organizational, personnel, and market psychology. They receive an introduction to important basic disciplines of psychology and business psychology, learn how people think, feel, and act, what motivates them, and how they perceive, process information, and learn. The program also teaches how to apply psychological diagnostics, what social cognition is, and the importance of groups and social environment for people. The program takes into account the changing requirements profile for business psychologists and prepares them for the challenges of the working world 4.0. This includes the digitalization of the working world, the potential of big data in market research and personnel recruitment, and the progressive use of artificial intelligence (AI) in personalized learning and human-machine collaboration. Another focus is on shaping social interaction and lived diversity, as well as transformation to a resilient organization, whether profit or non-profit. Digitalization, AI, and the working world 4.0 are the guiding principles of the Business Psychology program. Extensive foundations are laid and numerous specialization options are offered. Mathematics and data analytics as well as research methods are extensively integrated into the curriculum.
