About the Program

The aim of Business Informatics is to develop and apply theories, concepts, models and methods for the analysis, design and use of information systems. Business Informatics scientists deal with the planning, development, implementation, operation and further development of information systems which are used to support the business processes and structured strategic decision-making in companies. Students receive a deeper understanding of the business-related and information technology fundamentals, complemented by a math, economics and business law curriculum as well as key competences.
