About the Program

The aim of the research-oriented degree course is to provide students with the business management and methodological tools as well as the technical expertise to analyze complex interdisciplinary economic problems. Graduates should thus be able to apply their business expertise in close cooperation with engineers and natural scientists and thus be able to develop complex solutions to problems across disciplines. Students receive a sound education in economics, which is supplemented by elements from computer science, natural sciences and technology. Students can choose an individual study profile from a wide range of elective modules, whereby the compulsory and elective area "Business Administration" plays a central role in terms of scope. In order to promote intercultural competence and improve language skills, English-language courses are offered alongside German-language courses in the business administration and economics electives. In view of the high demand for specialists with interface skills in the industrial and technology sector, the career prospects for TBWL graduates are very promising. By acquiring skills in the areas of communication and leadership, graduates are predestined for interdisciplinary management positions in various sectors.
