Audiovisual Media

Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

About the Program

Students of Audiovisuelle Medien develop and produce films, computer animations, radio plays, spatial experience spaces, TV formats, visual effects, interactive experiences, games and music. For us, working with media means mastering technology, designing content and organising productions. This is why the degree programme teaches - in theory and practice - all the steps that are necessary from the idea to the finished media product. The degree programme focuses on practice, combining scientific and technical basis with design and conceptualisation. In the main study programme, students specialise in computer animation, spatial experiences, television, film, interactive media/games, sound or visual effects. Professionally equipped studios enable projects in which teams develop, realise and publicly present ideas under production conditions. The programme ends with a scientific Bachelor's thesis.
