About the Program

Students acquire selected knowledge about the subject areas of work, economics, and technology, as well as knowledge, skills, and abilities in teaching design. They are enabled to orient their future teaching to technical, technological, economic, ecological, and social issues. Students in general education schools should gain basic insights into the world of work and economics. They are to be prepared theoretically and practically for current and future requirements in the important areas of life such as profession, business, workplace, private household, market, leisure, and public life. The AWT studies include training and teaching qualification for craft education in the orientation stage (grades 5 and 6).
