About the Program

The Master's program Anglophone Literatures and Media (M.A.) is offered as a single-subject program by the Department of English Studies. A voluntary stay abroad also offers the opportunity to gain intercultural experience and deepen language skills. During the course of study, graduates acquire well-founded specialist knowledge of English-language literature, enhanced methodological skills, and a pronounced intercultural social and personal competence. Depending on further qualification, the degree qualifies for a broad spectrum of activities. Potential professional fields include journalism and media as well as publishing and cultural institutions.
