About the Program

This course focuses on portrait photography using analog black and white materials in the photo laboratory. The course includes content discussions of images, operation of an analog 35mm camera, development of negatives, and enlarging images on paper. Students from previous courses are invited to deepen their work. The course is mainly aimed at Communication Design students from the second semester onwards, but students from all other degree programs are also welcome. Successful participation in the course is a prerequisite for later independent work in the analog laboratory. Maximum 12 participants. Material costs for films, developers, and paper must be covered by the students themselves.
