Other

About the Program

This course is dedicated to the acoustic exploration of spaces, the development and execution of sound choreographies for specific locations, and the final transformation of these choreographies into a graphic notation form. Through joint listening exercises, material experiments, and playful investigation of sound-producing materials for their acoustic properties, students will be sensitized to hearing and encouraged to reflect on the phenomenon of sound. The course is led by Stefan Roigk, a sound artist from Berlin who works with the interdisciplinary combination of electroacoustic music, installation, musical graphics, and text-sound composition.
