About the Program

Come and explore Wittenberg and its UNESCO world heritage sites during the winter months. In this language course, you will not only discover the history of Luther’s town and learn about the city’s famous inhabitants but also learn a lot about Germany today. Here’s what you can expect: Class time Placement test 9:00 am – 12:15 pm / 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm, communicative language classes at different levels Training of all four language skills — reading, listening, writing, and speaking Lessons in pronunciation by trained specialists Learn about current cultural and socio-political topics as well as the history and current reality of the area around Wittenberg Work on projects and final exam Field trips and free time Two days of field trips and lots of free time activities Farewell party with everyone involved Support and help from international volunteers and student assistants
