Gisma University of Applied Sciences is a private educational institution with campuses in Potsdam and Berlin. Founded in 1999 as an initiative of companies and the Niedersachsen State Government, it is organized and managed by the private sector. One of the university's founders was former German Bundeskanzler Gerhard Schröder.
