About
Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft is a private art Hochschule, state-recognized since 2003, with campuses in Alfter near Bonn and in Mannheim, in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Founded in 1973, the operator of the Hochschule is Alanus Hochschule gGmbH, and its sole shareholder is Emil-Molt-Stiftung. The Hochschule is named after the medieval monk Alanus ab Insulis. The Hochschule's management currently consists of Rector Thomas Maschke, Vice-Rector Stefanie Greubel, Vice-Rector Dominik Schiefner, and Chancellor Michael Schröder.
