Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Fachrichtung Informatik

Master of Science (M.Sc.)

About the Program

The Master's program builds directly on the content of the preceding Bachelor's program, but gives students greater freedom and takes their professional interests into account. In the business studies part of the Master's program, students can choose a focus area from a wide range of topics. The business curriculum is supplemented by compulsory modules in qualitative or quantitative methods and a mandatory business internship. The business focus is chosen from a profile area (Management, Accounting and Finance, Intelligence, Logistics & Operations, or Economics). In the Computer Science specialization, students continue the content from the Bachelor's program with many elective options. Students must choose modules worth 34 ECTS points from the core and advanced modules from two of the five teaching areas of the Department of Computer Science. Additionally, a seminar with 4 ECTS points must be taken from one of the two chosen teaching areas. Research-based learning forms an important pillar of the Master's program with seminars, a research project, and the Master's thesis.
