About the Program

The master's degree programme in Therapy Sciences builds on the skills acquired in the bachelor's programme, both deepening and broadening them. It is a response to the increasing prevalence of chronic diseases and aims to improve therapeutic care in Germany. Graduates are qualified to develop innovative care concepts, implement evidence-based approaches and work in research, practice or management. The aim of the degree programme is to qualify graduates for interprofessional, person-centred care that is based on scientific evidence and integrates digital technologies. This includes both the development of new care concepts and their evaluation. The program is part-time, consecutive with 90 ECTS credit points. The program benefits from close integration of theory and practice by teachers with many years of practical and research experience. Students learn to work together in an interprofessional capacity with other health disciplines from the beginning. The department features specialized facilities including skills labs, simulated care areas, and specialized treatment rooms where theoretical content can be directly applied in specific interactions with patients or clients.
