Would you like to pursue a career as an engineer? OTH Amberg-Weiden offers you the first-class opportunity to obtain a Bachelor of Engineering degree at a leading German university with its English-language programme in Technical Engineering. Our Bachelor's degree programme opens up a broad range of fields of expertise with a focus on fundamental engineering sciences. Furthermore, we also qualify our students in the areas of business management, intercultural competences and languages, which leads to excellent career opportunities in an international environment. The flexible combination of modules from different specialisations also allows you to set your own priorities in your studies, according to your interests. From the third semester onwards, you can choose from a wide range of possible subjects. You are not limited to the English-language modules offered in the degree programme but also have the option of choosing German-language lectures from the range of courses offered by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering. A strong practical focus is very important to us. In many subjects, the lectures are complemented by various internships in our modern and well-equipped laboratories. The internship semester and the final thesis take place in the last semester, during which no lectures are scheduled. The long, continuous period that you spend in the company offers you optimal opportunities for a successful start to your career. Our Bachelor's programme is specifically aimed at foreign students with English language skills who wish to obtain an engineering degree from a German university.
