About the Program

The MBA Sport-Management is a continuing education, international and part-time study program. It offers those who are already working in the sports sector and see their professional future in sports management the opportunity to qualify for leadership positions in sports. Students acquire competencies in the organization of sports, club and association management as well as in the planning, organization and implementation of major events. In addition, personnel management and ethics in sport as well as the increasingly important area of social media in sport, sports rights and athlete marketing as well as contract law are among the study contents. The study program is modular and follows the blended learning approach. A combination of self-study, classroom teaching in small groups to deepen the learning content and information exchange on the learning platform Ilias, as well as partially English-language teaching, specifically addresses the different senses and guarantees learning success. During the semester, attendance days take place on three weekends (Friday and Saturday) at the Nürburgring. Trust in intensive support and a cooperative working atmosphere. After successful completion, you will have a solid management education as well as special expertise in sports management and have the management competencies that open up excellent prospects on the job market.
