About the Program
PreBachelor is a comprehensive preparation for a Bachelor’s degree in engineering at TU Darmstadt. During the programme, you will learn German technical language and methodical basics and get to know the university as well as student life in Germany before you start your studies. Content-based language course in engineering: In the German intensive course, you will learn specialised German language skills that are required for engineering studies at TU Darmstadt. Course participants will be guided from the proven general language German level B2 to the subject language German level C1. Subject-specific preparation: The preliminary course in maths consists of a lecture, tutorial, and self-study with multimedia materials. Orientation: During the orientation, you will get to know our facilities and learning resources. The introduction programme includes the study-related student advisory service, the study offices, research institutions (such as the European Space Operations Centre), and university groups.
