Music - Piano Bachelor of Music

Bachelor of Music (B.Mus.)

About the Program

The Piano (B.Mus.) program aims to enable students with sufficient artistic aptitude to elevate their piano playing to a new level, deepen their knowledge of music theory and ear training, and potentially work as professional pianists. The program provides the necessary artistic, pedagogical, and other professional competencies required for successful work as pianists - both as soloists and in chamber music. In addition to preparing students to work as freelance artists, the instrumental pedagogical content of the program also offers the possibility of later teaching outside of schools. Young, highly gifted pianists who are still attending general education schools can be admitted to the preliminary class before completing school. Those who wish to perfect their piano skills after graduating can take free master classes.
