This program has expanded the necessary range of subjects for high-quality education in classical jazz: to include the areas of "Contemporary Music", "Electronic Music" and modern "Crossover Forms" of sound and improvisation. The HfM Saar has thus established a contemporary musical education in the field of all existing musical structures of jazz and improvised music - a study program for comprehensively working creative musicians, composers and teachers for jazz, improvised and contemporary music.
