Combining artistic skills, theory, practical knowledge and the ability to teach in a modern way: that is the basic idea behind our Bachelor's programme. The stylistic range is intended to be wide, from classical and contemporary music to challenging forms of jazz and popular music - without any blinkers. The focus is on the main subject. During your studies, you will also gain insight into useful areas such as project organisation and topics from the music industry. The program offers three focus areas: Instrumental, Voice, and Composition. Students receive intensive main subject lessons and deepen their knowledge in ensemble playing, chamber music, stylistics, musicology, and music theory, complemented by career-related and music-didactic courses.
