About the Program

The Medical Law Master's program at Dresden International University is interdisciplinary in the best sense of the word: doctors, business administrators, lawyers, insurance professionals, and public health managers discuss and learn together on equal footing. The program aims to provide graduates from legal and medical or health economics programs with medical law competencies that are prerequisites for solving problems at the interface of medicine and law. Participants master central fields of medicine from a legal perspective. The study program imparts the ability to analyze medically relevant facts from a legal perspective and to work together with representatives of the other discipline to solve relevant problems. The program follows a blended learning concept, including kick-off meetings, individual knowledge acquisition, consultations, lectures, and seminars.
