Mechatronik und Autonome SystemeMechatronics and Autonomous Systems

Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)

About the Program

The Mechatronics and Autonomous Systems program combines three disciplines under one roof: mechanics, electronics, and computer science. The program reflects the complex systems that have become our daily companions: cars, robots, aircraft, or manufacturing facilities are complete systems with components from different disciplines - this is where mechatronics engineers are needed. From the 6th semester, students can choose between specializations in 'Vehicle Mechatronics and Electromobility' and 'Industrial Mechatronics and Robotics'. The program is designed for 7 semesters and is divided into two study sections. The first two-semester section provides a solid foundation in mathematics, physics, measurement technology, electronics, CAD/manufacturing processes, technical mechanics, electrical engineering, and computer science. The 5th semester is a practical semester. The Bachelor thesis concludes the studies.
