About the Program

Mechatronic systems combine sensors, drives, information processing and a mechanical structure with communication technology and human-machine interfaces. Our students learn by an interdisciplinary approach to model and to design such systems, especially robots. They work in application-oriented, updated labs such as a pool of modern industry robots. Further subjects: mobile robots bionic systems automation technology additive manufacturing embedded systems optical sensors With our up-to-date technical facilities and strong company connections, our students are well prepared for their engineering career. We teach modern methods and tools that are state of the art at our industry partners. Due to the high practical relevance of the study contents and the experience gained from the internship period, our students have excellent career prospects in one of the most innovative industrial regions in Germany.
