About the Program

Our seven-semester Bachelor of Engineering programme, conducted entirely in English, blends engineering sciences with problem-solving, design, and communication skills. It prepares students for a wide range of career options in the field of mechanical engineering and also provides them a solid academic foundation for the continuation of their studies in graduate programmes. Mechanical Engineering is designed for about 50 to 60 new students per year. Due to the relatively small number of students, a unique trademark of this programme is the students' close personal contact to the staff and faculty members of our department. As a Mechanical Engineering student, you will learn the fundamentals of engineering design, simulation, and manufacturing, and you will also gain hands-on experience in laboratory settings and through projects with industry partners. Our expert faculty will guide you through coursework in topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, numerical methods, computer science, and mechatronics, ensuring that you have a broad understanding of the field and the skills needed to tackle complex engineering challenges.
