Students learn everything needed to build and operate everything from individual machines to large technical systems, including knowledge of planning, design, development, manufacturing, production, and project management. The program emphasizes practical experience with state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, and students work on their own projects as early as the 3rd semester. Opportunities for semester abroad are available at partner universities in Europe, Asia and Central America.
