About the Program

The core objective of the Mechanical Engineering program is to teach the mathematical and scientific fundamentals and methods of engineering. Students can then apply these to theoretical and practical problems and develop solutions. The program remains holistic in its core studies, with various specializations available including Biomechanics, Energy Systems, Aircraft Systems Engineering, Engineering Materials, Mechatronics, Product development and production, and Theoretical mechanical engineering. The program is divided into two sections: the main course of study (138 ECTS) covering basic subjects, and a chosen specialization (18 ECTS). Additionally, there are non-technical supplementary courses (6 ECTS), technical electives (6 ECTS), and a bachelor thesis (12 ECTS) in the sixth semester.
