About the Program

When you study the Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree programme in Mechanical Engineering at H-BRS, you are opting for practical relevance, modern technology and first-class study conditions. Joint projects with industry are a matter of course for our future engineers. With Mechatronics and Product Development, the degree programme offers specialisations that are in demand in industry. In the Bachelor's degree programme, students learn the fundamentals of mathematics and physics as well as basic knowledge of computer science and engineering. From the third semester onwards, they choose a specialisation: mechatronics or product development - and deepen their knowledge of subjects such as thermodynamics, design and pneumatics, depending on their focus. The programme includes laboratory practicals, project weeks, an internship semester, and concludes with a practice-oriented Bachelor's thesis.
