About the Program

The programme provides students with specialist competence as well as linguistic and social competence in economics and tourism. It is a tightly organised study programme that includes leisure and tourism as well as business and law modules, finance and accounting, foreign languages and creative units. The modular structure of this degree programme offers the flexibility to study abroad and to undertake the mandatory internship. These are integral parts of the course. Besides imparting basic tenets of business management, specialised skills are developed during the first semesters. The theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom is deepened through excursions, guest lectures by business specialists, and the organisation of special events. The high practical orientation of the programme and the course contents prepare graduates to face international requirements in business, particularly in the leisure and tourism sector. The European Credit Transfer System, which is used at our university, ensures international comparison and guarantees easy recognition of credits earned abroad. We guarantee you a highly practice-oriented method of teaching, capitalising on our close contacts to players in the leisure and tourism industry and to exclusive cooperation partners and lecturers with years of practical experience. As the majority of the programme is taught in English, it helps to develop and train your language skills. By learning a further language, you also improve your chances for the international job market. This can be further enhanced by obtaining one of the optional double degrees.
