About the Program

Jurisprudence is the science of law, its manifestations, its application and its effects. The doctoral program offers outstanding students the opportunity to conduct research in all areas of law and at the same time offers them courses that systematically support their progress and enable them to complete a doctorate within a reasonable period of time. The program is part of a concept for the promotion of young researchers that spans the individual professorships and institutes of the school, through which the research achievements of the individual doctoral students are networked and supported. Students can get to know and apply new approaches to legal research in dialog with supervisors and other doctoral candidates.
