About the Program

The Master's program in Chamber Music aims to provide students with artistic, instrumental, and social competencies for the subject of chamber music to be professionally prepared for the diverse requirements in their later professional life. The program involves working together on demanding works of chamber music literature from all stylistic directions. The Master's program is designed to enable reflection (analysis, text comprehension, sound diversity, intonation, stylistics) and communicative engagement with the respective works within the various ensembles. Chamber music promotes musical versatility, teamwork, and organizational independence. The focus of the study is on deepening and expanding repertoire, communicative music-making, reflecting on one's own role in the ensemble, and the continuous expansion of instrumental skills. The study is carried out either in the field of Piano Chamber Music or String Chamber Music.
