The IT Security / Networks and Systems Master's program focuses on how information can be represented, saved, transmitted and processed securely. It covers system vulnerabilities in various contexts (Internet, computer networks, mobile phones, cars, etc.), how complex IT systems maintain safety according to pre-defined objectives (privacy, integrity, authenticity, anonymity), cryptographic processes and their implementation, protection against hacker attacks, and challenges at the human/IT Security interface.
