About the Program

The aim of this master's degree course is to enable students to act independently and responsibly and to apply scientific findings and methods in the field of information technology with a focus on either Artificial Intelligence and Big Data ("Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence"), or Automation Systems in Industrial Applications ("Automation and Smart Factory"). The consecutive master's programme is aimed at graduates with a first relevant engineering or scientific degree. Relevant fields of study are, for example, electrical engineering and information technology, mechatronics & digital automation, industrial 4.0 informatics or media informatics or comparable computer science programmes with a technical orientation. For other courses of study, the examination board will decide on the relevance.
