Interior Architecture

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

About the Program

The Interior Architecture study programme deals with the development of spaces that can be used well and have lots of character. During the practically oriented Bachelor's programme, students acquire design skills and basic knowledge for the independent design, planning and creation of spaces and buildings that focus on their interiors. The programme promotes cooperation with other fields of competence (e.g. lighting design, colour design, metal design and product design). Students conceive, design and plan rooms that interact with people. The core topics deal with how space, colour and light interact with one another. Students develop objects, furniture, temporary spaces, trade fair concepts, exhibitions, room scenarios and interior design for existing and new buildings/analogue and digital. Project work is the central building block of teaching and prepares students for working independently and in larger teams.
