This course covers the fundamentals of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Topics include: fundamentals and motivation of IoT and its social and economic significance, impact of IoT on employees and working environment, data protection aspects in IoT practice, application areas and examples of IoT, application-oriented basics and possible uses of AI, and Chat Bots. The course is a combination of face-to-face and online lectures with project management tasks in group work. Assessment is through project work.
